Our Story

At present, Lakefront is a leading macro and fixed income hedge fund with about 90 professionals in Beijing, Hong Kong, and Shenzhen. Lakefront is committed to be one of best investment managers in greater China.

In 2016, Lakefront expanded footprint to Hong Kong and launched the 1st US Dollar denominated greater China macro fund. Lakefront Hong Kong serves as a bridge to connect China assets and investors in and out of China market.

In 2015, Lakefront had expanded into a size of 40 employees and two offices located in Beijing and Shenzhen. While delivering better-than-expected returns to investors, Lakefront concentrated on building technology powered organization to offer systematic research & investment solutions to clients.

Founded in 2011, Lakefront Asset Management born with well-established China macro strategy framework by two of the earliest bond traders and experienced research & investment professionals, Yiting Tang and Yu Zhang. The core team has worked together for over a decade before Lakefront founded and shares common culture & ethical values.
